Young Sommelier Competition of Asia
Young Sommelier Competition of Asia (YSC) is hosted by AOW, which is the largest competition in Taiwan.
In Asia, Taiwan plays a very important role in the hospitality industry. Taiwan has high reputation in service quality. Many companies such as airline companies, resorts, 5 starts hotels from Japan, Singapore, HK, China, and etc. are coming to Taiwan and hiring the young talents. In order to improve the service knowledge and quality, AOW would like to create a platform for young talents such as young professionals who are currently studying in the hospitality schools or who are just started their careers in the hospitality sectors. Therefore, “Young Sommelier Competition of Asia”(YSC) aims to bring the culture of service skills, knowledge of wine and spirits, also the food and wine pairing abilities in service industry.

Art Of Wine(AOW) Co., Ltd is a wine and spirits consulting company based in Taiwan. As one of the market leaders, we have grown with the rise of the wine and spirits market in Asia by accumulating experiences in the areas of education, consulting, media events, and culture. We have a team of enthusiastic and dedicated professionals who put themselves in the hospitality industry. AOW with all of our partner will co-create the progress of the hospitality culture in Taiwan.
Founder Sherry Weng
Sherry Weng is the founder of Art Of Wine (AOW) and the chairperson of YSC. Along with the advancement of the hospitality culture in Taiwan, AOW has seen the young talents who has the passion and ambition about the high-class service. In order to improve the service knowledge and quality, AOW would like to create a platform for young talents such as young professionals who are currently studying in the hospitality schools or who are just started their careers in the hospitality sectors. The young talents will encourage each other and co-create the progress of the hospitality culture in Taiwan.
